Digitoll is Norwegian Customs’ initiative to digitize customs processes between Sweden and Norway. From 2026, all goods will be required to be declared digitally and placed under a customs procedure before crossing the border. The introduction will take place in two stages – on February 1, all goods must meet the requirements of the declaration and information obligation. On September 1, all goods must be placed under a customs procedure before crossing the border. With this, the Direct Clearance Scheme – 10-day warehouse will disappear.
